Yonif 509 Kostrad Brings Joy and New Spirit to Intan Jaya Children

Intan Jaya - The Yonif 509 Kostrad Task Force has once again demonstrated its commitment to the community in Intan Jaya, particularly to children, by organizing a lively play event. This initiative allowed the soldiers to interact directly with local children, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere.

Led by Lieutenant Chk Irawan Suharto, the Operations Officer of the Yonif 509 Task Force, the activity aimed to entertain and provide moral support to children often affected by the region's challenging security conditions. By inviting them to play, the children visibly expressed their happiness and enthusiasm. Kamis (17/10/2024).

“We want to see the children smile and enjoy their childhood without fear. Playing with the soldiers is our way of connecting with them and building their spirit, ” stated Lieutenant Chk Irawan Suharto.

The joy of the children was evident throughout the event as they ran, laughed, and eagerly participated in the games prepared by the soldiers. This activity is hoped to not only bring happiness but also to uplift the children's spirits as they navigate their daily lives in a challenging environment.
